Our riding program is designed to build and nurture relationships with horses. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, but are united by their passion for horses.
We encourage all types of riding and experiences that include horses and exceptional horsemanship.
Home-Port Stables is very proud of their students. Some riding programs focus on highlighting horse show success as reasons for joining their program. But not us.
Home-Port Stables students are dedicated to developing their relationship with horses. Our "Horses Come First" motto requires students care for their mounts first. This philosophy is a pillar of good horsemanship and a fundamental basis for our training program.
As a result... our students have enjoyed top placements at Hunter/Jumper Shows, Three Day Events, and Hunter Paces. Our junior team was 2019 Virginia Hunter Pace series Champions.
When horses come first... success follows
